"What have you given me, Father, that I might help those who don't have power, who don't have protection, who don't have freedom, who don't have justice?"
- G. Haugen in Good News About Injustice
This is my prayer. From my toes to my fingertips, this is my prayer. And I pray it to a God who despises injustice, who knows suffering firsthand and who is powerful and faithful. He does not need me in order to accomplish anything, but He calls me by name to play a specific role in His plan to bring justice.
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
-Edmund Burke
