Starting in the middle...

Answers
- Kari received her visa for France in one week after being told it could take up to three months for the process to be completed.
- We have both met (in the most random times/places!) Senegalese people which reminds us of the love which HE has placed in our hearts for our families and friends we said goodbye to earlier this year.
- GOD provided a part-time job for Kari during the fall...working in the same office as her best friend, Nicole!
- We have full support and prayers of our family as we move to France and begin married life.
- GOD has provided for our financial needs for this first year...and even some of our "wants!"
- Jonathan has made several good friends, and also contacts, in Lyon during this first semester. They have been great in helping us in in our searches for housing, funding, good places to eat pizza (very important for K!), and ministry opportunities.
- The wedding is in one week...which means we've survived (and grown even closer after) being apart for 11 weeks! Jonathan arrives in ATL on Monday!!

Prayers
- We are looking for an apartment beginning in April...in French, through the French system, without employment or a French person to sign the required financial guarranty statement. But HE called us here and promised/promises to provide. Pray for us to be patient and wait for the place HE has for us, and not to rush into anything else out of fear/lack of faith.
- Jonathan's finals will be in February. This means five comprehensive tests over an entire semester of medical school, all in French. It also means GOD is giving us another opportunity to rely fully on HIM.
- We are praying about returning to Senegal for the summer to work with the Lebou people, possibly working in medical clinics and translating. Please pray for wisdom for us and the teams we would be joining. Pray that if it is HIS will, that it would be clear to all involved and that HE would provide the finances for us to go and still pay rent on the apartment in Lyon.
- Please pray for our families and friends as we say goodbyes again and move back across the ocean. Of course, it's exciting to move to France as newlyweds...but of course, it's hard to move away after just returning for a few months.
- Kari has applied for a job teaching English in a university, but won't know anything for a few months as the job begins next school year. Pray that we would be wise in our financial decisions and trust HIM to provide in HIS perfect timing.
